  The closing ceremony of The 7th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival was held at Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha in Naha City on November 3.

   During the festival, many Uchinanchu living in Okinawa and Uchinanchu from around the world with Okinawan roots deepened exchanges. The next Uchinanchu Festival is scheduled to be held in five years, in 2027.

  At the closing ceremony, Governor of Okinewa Denny Tamaki emphasized his deep friendship with the Uchinanchu of the world, saying, "We are a family 'Ya-nin-ju' united by the strong ties of the Uchinanchu Network.

  Governor Tamaki promised to pass on "Yuimaru (The spirit of Okinawa )," "Hiyamikachi (spirit of overcoming difficulties)," "Chimugukuru (The heart of heart)" and "Nuchidu-takara (life is treasure)" to the next generation. He added, "We Uchinanchu should be proud that we were able to hold this festival in peace and with smiles on our faces. And let us strive for dialogue and coexistence so that the fear of war will disappear as soon as possible," he urged the participants.

  Raul Kobashigawa, president of the Peruvian Okinawa Association (Asociación Okinawense del Perú), said, "(The welcome) made us realize that we are part of Uchinanchu, part of the family. We will not forget that and will pass on our feelings for Okinawa to our children and their children," he said.

  After the closing ceremony, the grand finale be held at the same venue, with BEGIN, Diamantes, Murasaki, and other leading Okinawan artists gracing the stage to conclude the four-day celebration.

 Ceremonia de clausura del 7º Festival Mundial de Uchinanchu. 

El próximo está previsto para 2027.

 

La ceremonia de clausura del 7º Festival Mundial de Uchinanchu se celebró en el Estadio Celular de Okinawa, en la ciudad de Naha, el 3 de noviembre.

 Durante el festival, muchos uchinanchu que viven en Okinawa y uchinanchu de todo el mundo con raíces okinawenses profundizaron en los intercambios. El próximo Festival Uchinanchu está previsto que se celebre dentro de cinco años, en 2027.

En la ceremonia de clausura, el gobernador de Okinewa, Denny Tamaki, destacó su profunda amistad con los Uchinanchu del mundo, diciendo: "Somos una familia 'Ya-nin-ju' unida por los fuertes lazos de la Red Uchinanchu".

El gobernador Tamaki prometió transmitir "Yuimaru (El espíritu de Okinawa )", "Hiyamikachi (espíritu de superación)", "Chimugukuru (El corazón del corazón)" y "Nuchidu-takara (la vida es un tesoro)" a la siguiente generación. Y añadió: "Nosotros, los Uchinanchu, debemos estar orgullosos de haber podido celebrar este festival en paz y con una sonrisa en la cara. Y luchemos por el diálogo y la convivencia para que el miedo a la guerra desaparezca cuanto antes", instó a los participantes.

Raúl Kobashigawa, presidente de la Asociación Okinawense del Perú, dijo: "(La bienvenida) nos hizo darnos cuenta de que somos parte de Uchinanchu, de la familia. No lo olvidaremos y transmitiremos nuestros sentimientos por Okinawa a nuestros hijos y a los suyos", dijo.

Después de la ceremonia de clausura, se celebrará la gran final en el mismo lugar, con BEGIN, Diamantes, Murasaki y otros destacados artistas de Okinawa que subirán al escenario para concluir la celebración de cuatro días.
