海外のマラソンで出会ったランナーの話では「笑顔が似ているので息子では・・・」と思いエールを送ったとか・・・。兄が「沖縄の興南と、福島の聖光を応援している・・・」と書いていたこともあると思うのですが・・・。息子ではないです。応援している島袋くんです。
ロスでの日米親善高校野球でもきっと島袋洋奨くんがんばってくれることと思います。

Japanese High School Baseball Koshien Update: Yosuke Shimabukuro

Okinawa's Konan High School is the first to win their regional baseball tournament and receive a bid to play in the Summer Japanese High School Koshien tournament, which will start in August.
Konan High School is led by top pro prospect pitcher Yosuke Shimabukuro. Shimabukuro last year fanned 18 batters in one game at the Koshien tournament as a 2nd year student and is expected to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick in the NPB Japanese Pro Baseball draft in October if he declares for it.
